A generic SciFi piece that started out on my laptop. Working on a 17" notebook screen is a real pain if you're used to a 30" IPS Panel. First world problems though

This looks very intriguing....and mysterious.
Question are the Ship(s) entering the "singularity" in order to travel to another reality/dimension or just to traverse their own universe in a time efficient manner?
Oh and is the guy/girl the suit with what appears to be a Jetpack witnessing after drifting in space for who knows how long or did they come from the two space ships we see flying away from the space anomaly?
