These are wonderful! Love the atmosphere and your use of light & value is excellent. :clap: I'd love to know - if these were speedpaintings, how long did they take? And if you did more work on them what would you change?

Thanks! I'd say they took me between 20 to 40 minutes max. each. Further work from here on is just elbow grease: detailing, refining the forms, solving more visual problems through actually painting detail than suggesting it (especially in the visual focus/selling points of the images). The esssence of the composition is done at this point, which makes the first 20 to 40 mins the most exciting but also the most challenging part. The rest I paint on autopilot.

That's still incredibly fast. Mind you, I work with pencil so most other techniques seem fast. But I think it shows some incredible talent & skill on your part to create this in 40 min. I'd love to try something like this with my watercolour pencils, sometime...=D
